Mark 9:33-35 KJVR And he came to Capernaum: and being in the house he asked them, What was it that ye disputed among yourselves by the way? (34) But they held their peace: for by the way they had disputed among themselves, who should be the greatest. (35) And he sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all.
1. “Deliberate Mediocrity is a sin.” – Elton Trueblood
Mediocrity: from the word mediocre (halfway up a mountain); to be of moderate or low quality, value, ability, or performance
Matthew 5:1 KJVR And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:
2. The last thing that the church needs in this hour is mediocrity in leadership; leaders that are only willing to go halfway up the mountain.
Matthew 15:14 KJVR Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
3. When we say Christian and Leader together we are really saying something.
a. We are refereeing to a person that has committed themselves to be a servant of Christ and at the same time willing to an example of what it means to be Christian.
b. We are leaders in this thing that we call Christdom.

There will be many well-meaning people in your life that will have great sounding idea about what you should or should not be doing. Your relatives tend to try to be experts on your life. You want to experience suffering? All have to do is allow anyone besides God to give you guidance on how to live your life. I encourage you to follow God & remain free of the good opinions me others.

Perpetual Victims
All around us are people that have had real life issues. However, we have to beware of the ones that have decided to be perpetual victims. Sympathy, to a perpetual victim, is like giving a rock to a crack addict. The more they get, the more they want. Yes we sympathize with others plight, but there has to be limits so that we don't end up empowering their weakness. If you want to help a perpetual victim, at some point you have to let go of the once that would rather rehearse their saga, while resisting any efforts toward real change. Hitting rock bottom could be the only thing to make them seek real help over temporal relief for the moment.

Faith Filled Words Pt. 1
Genesis 1:27-28 KJV So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
In our pursuit of reaching our God Potential we have to understand the dominion that we have been given in this physical realm. Because we are so outwardly focused and influenced we have literally neglected our inward God Power. GOD’S GIFT TO MAN IS POWER; POWER AND DOMINION OVER ALL CREATED THINGS.

THEN, BECAUSE MANY OF US VALUE THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE HERD OVER THE ADVENTURE OF FOLLOWING OUR DREAMS WE FIND OURSELVES CONFORMING TO THE NORM.

Stop Stopping Your Flow of Goodness in your life!
One of the greatest things that any one can experience is the feeling of encouragement. However, as we all know life many times deals us situations that are not what we would call encouraging.
James 1:2-4 KJV My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
I know we have heard this verse from many aspects but what the Apostle Paul was teaching here is a Christ-like Mind set. He is not saying that the situation is good, but he is challenging us to be patient and look at it from a future prospective.
Disappointment is Dangerous
If we look at were we are at this present moment it would be very easy to get upset and disappointed. However, when we come to the understanding that our thoughts and our emotions are shaping our future we are more likely to reevaluate the situation and try to see it God’s way; counting it joy!
Joy
Notice that Paul didn’t say be happy about the situation. Happiness deals with what is happening, getting an outside stimuli to change our emotions. Paul says that we are to count it all Joy! Joy is a very strong emotion that emulates from within and has nothing to do directly with what is happening outside!
Attracting What You Feel
Not only are we attracting what we think about we are attracting what we are feeling. If we allow disappointment to dominate our lives we will find more things to be disappointed about showing up. What we think about with strong feelings is what is expanding in our life.
Ambiguous Feelings
This is why many people are not seeing the things they are praying about show up in their lives. Their subconscious feelings are not in agreement with their prayers. There emotional connection with the situation disallows God’s Universal law of attraction to bring what they are praying for to manifestation. So instead of an answer they get more things to feel disappointed about.
Spiritual Harmony
Many people pray today and then two days later change their focus from expecting God to answer back to looking at what they don’t have. We are attracting what we are focused on. If we are paying attention to our prayer not being answered and what is missing, then all we are doing is allowing the doubt to cause more things to start missing in our life. If you say, “I Hate Debt, I Hate being overweight, I wish things were different in my life, etc – your focus is on what is. This is where many people are. They are focusing on what is, and that kind of thinking keeps them out of spiritual harmony with what they want.
Poison
Allowing yourself to daily worry and complain about what you don’t like and what is missing in your life is like drinking a little poison every day. It is a little bitter at first, but after awhile you get accustom to the taste. So daily you worry in your mind and complain to others until it becomes habitual. Guess what happens then? More things for you to worry and complain about start showing up!
The key here is to make the conscious decision to believe God that what we ask is already ours in the spirit and is about to manifest into my reality. This is focusing on where and what we desire over what is! Why does it seem as though many people are living in an endless cycle of misery and suffering? Because they have missed the lesson of Proverbs 4:23.
Heart Issues
Proverbs 4:23 KJV Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
The word heart in this verse is referring to the seat of the intellect and emotions. Our life is being issued out of our dominate thoughts and feelings. Is this to say that God is not in the picture? Absolutely NOT! However, I do believe that we are co-creators as it relates to our physical life and situations that we experience.
Remember the heart is the seat of the intellect and emotions. The bible says that God looks on the heart of a man. Why? Not only to see if the person loves Him. Many people love God but are not headed toward God. God looks at the heart to view the direction a person is going.
You’re going where you thoughts are taking you! Only you can stop the goodness of God from flowing in your life
March 20, 2007 07:33 PM PDT
Goal Setting deals with you natural understand of how to use natural means to accomplish things.
Manifesting is you delibrately attracting what you desire to complish by allowing the Universal Law of Attraction to work for us.

Things Don’t Have to Mess Up Your Relationship with God!!
One of the hardest concepts for many people that desire to reach there full God Potential to grasp is the Law of Detachment. The Law of Detachment says that in order for what you are praying for to manifest into reality you have to be able to relinquish your attachment to it. The concept of detachment is seen in the scriptures as we are told not to worry about things.
Matthew 6:31 MSG What I'm trying to do here is to get you to relax, to not be so preoccupied with getting, so you can respond to God's giving.
Detachment allows you to pray, believing that you will receive from God the desires of your heart, yet not leaving you to be controlled by the outcome.
Psalms 21:2 KJV Thou hast given him his heart's desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips.
Psalms 37:4 KJV Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
Proverbs 13:12 KJV Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.
God does not have a problem with the desires that emulate from the heart that is submitted to him. God’s problem with this whole picture is when we allow our focus to be totally on our desires and never on pleasing him.
Matthew 6:33 KJV But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Matthew 6:33 MSG Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don't worry about missing out. You'll find all your everyday human concerns will be met.
When we take into consideration the omnipresence of God we will come to the understanding that “whatever we desire is where God is, and he has No problem getting it to us, if we allow Him to!” God has promised to give us our desires if we would only seek the kingdom of God first, giving Him our undivided admiration, loyalty and honor for everything we accomplish and receive into our life’s.
Deuteronomy 8:17-18 KJV And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth (pride). 18 But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.
This is where the Law of Detachment comes into play. Detachment allows us to desire the abundance that God has for us without losing our focus on God. When ever our focus is not on God pride comes in and we find ourselves controlling or being controlled by things and circumstance. Detachment says, “I want what I want but NOT at the expense of my relationship with God”. I need God MOST OF ALL!! The songwriter said it best, “I’m Happy with Jesus alone”.
